1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, creating an account, or scheduling a laundry pickup, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Pickup and Delivery Protocols

• Service Windows: Pickups and deliveries occur Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Saturday delivery-only windows occur between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
  
  

• Unattended Items: Laundry must be placed in a secure, accessible location (such as your front porch). Rosy Cozy Laundry assumes no liability for stolen, missing, or weather-damaged items left unattended prior to driver pickup or following delivery completion.
  
  

3. Subscriptions, Weights & Overage Billing

• Included Weight: Subscription plans include up to 30 lbs of laundry per scheduled pickup.
  
  

• Overage Fees: Laundry exceeding the 30 lb limit will be weighed upon arrival at our facility and billed at our extra weight rate $2.10/lb for weekly subscriptions and $2.20/lb for bi-weekly subscriptions to your payment method on file.
  
  

• Recurring Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew on your chosen schedule (weekly or bi-weekly) until paused or canceled through your online portal. Cancellations must be made through your online portal by 8:00 PM the evening before your scheduled pickup date.
  
  

4. Prohibited Items & Biohazard Policy

For the safety of our personnel and sanitary maintenance of our equipment, we strictly prohibit the submission of:

• Pet bedding or items excessively covered in pet hair.
  
  

• Biohazardous materials, including garments contaminated with blood, feces, urine, or vomit.
  
  

• Items soaked in hazardous chemicals, flammables, oil, or automotive grease.
  
  

• Dry-clean-only garments, leather, silk, or specialty care textiles.
  
  

Note: Any order containing prohibited items will be returned unwashed, and a $25 processing and sanitation fee will be applied to your account.  

5. Garment Care & Liability Disclaimers

• Normal Wear, Shrinkage & Color Bleeding: Rosy Cozy Laundry exercises reasonable care in handling all customer garments. However, we are not liable for pre-existing wear and tear, aging or delicate fabrics, weak seams, color bleeding from non-colorfast garments, or natural shrinkage resulting from standard professional laundering and tumble drying.  (particularly on 100% cotton, wool, or un-preshrunk natural fibers).
  
  

• Stain Removal Disclaimer: Our service is a bulk wash-and-fold operation. While we utilize premium, brand-name detergents and proven laundering methods, we do not guarantee the removal of stains. Stain treatment is performed on a best-effort basis only. We will not use aggressive chemical treatments or high-bleach applications that risk damaging fabric integrity.
  
  

• Loose Items & Pockets: You are responsible for thoroughly clearing all pockets prior to pickup. Rosy Cozy Laundry assumes no liability for damage to garments caused by items left in pockets (including, but not limited to, pens, lip balms, crayons, markers, gum, or metal objects) or for the loss of items left inside laundry bags.
  
  

• Special Care Instructions: Any specific washing requirements (e.g., cold water only, low heat drying) must be saved in your online account preferences or included on a clearly visible written note placed inside a separate, labeled bag within your main tote. We process all standard bags according to default commercial care guidelines if no preferences are provided.
  
  

6. Limitation of Liability

In the event of a damaged garment proved to be caused by our handling, our maximum aggregate liability is capped at ten times (10x) the laundering cost attributed to that individual garment, up to a maximum total of $100.00 per order. Claims for damaged items must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted exclusively in the state courts located in Riverside County, California.
